I’m Ragini, an experienced teacher, leader and coach. I specialise in helping teachers to confidently transition into new roles and to develop their unique leadership style

As a teacher, I loved the buzz and rhythm of school life which helped me to successfully teach children aged 4 to 11

I loved working with experts in other disciplines and collaborated with artists, actors and writers to develop stimulating learning experiences for pupils. I loved the challenge of becoming an Assistant Head, a Governor and curriculum specialist.

But trust me - it wasn’t all plain sailing.

There were times when I didn’t know if I could continue teaching because I was overwhelmed. Facing the additional responsibilities with each promotion often left me feeling inadequate.

I understand the feeling of being overstretched at home and at work; of thinking that my best was not good enough.

At times, I was on the verge of quitting.

That’s why I’m passionate about empowering teachers to flourish in every phase of their careers.

By integrating my experience and expertise of teaching, leadership and coaching, I have developed coaching programmes to support teachers to improve their wellbeing as they build sustainable careers, without sacrificing activities and relationships that they love.

I have identified steps that anyone can follow to develop the mindset needed to thrive.

I work with you
- To find time you didn't think you had.
- To develop habits that improve sleep and increase energy.
- To create strategies to avoid burnout.

You will
- Gain clarity about how to prioritise activities
- Be empowered to set boundaries and to say no to unwanted demands on your time
- Become confident in your ability to lead other people.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ragini for many years and she has supported individuals, teams and organisations to reach their goals.
She is a very skilled coach and mentor and I have personally benefited from her positivity, her belief and her wisdom.

Ragini's experience and deep knowledge of the curriculum and how children can access it successfully would benefit a teacher at any stage of their career. As a coach, Ragini developed my understanding of the different ways children learn. She was patient and supportive of me at an early stage of my career. She encouraged me to identify gaps in my knowledge and enabled me to fill them. This helped me take my first steps onto the leadership ladder.

"I can't see the wood for the trees," or thoughts to that effect were my frequent companions. I found myself needing time and space to clarify what it is that's important to me. Time was the one thing I felt I didn't have. I am so glad that I didn't let this stop me from receiving coaching from Ragini.
This was time spent excellently and Ragini really helped me think through what it was that I wanted to achieve, giving me tools to help me turn ideas into actions. Ragini was supportive and encouraging, challenging some of my preconceptions, limiting thoughts that weren't serving me and helped me see that things could be different. I know she has walked this road too and I'm encouraged by her example.
